Lego Fans Аpartment #3 Billund Center

The apartment was fantastic for visiting Lego House! It was less than one block from Lego House entrance (just walk across the parking lot and go between two buildings). The Lego House has outdoor free playgrounds on the grounds and the different levels of roofs. Thus, when we got to the apartment, we could go out and play on the roofs of Lego House in the afternoon and then go to the inside during the day. The apartment is great size for 2 adults and 2 children. Parents slept in the double bed in the bedroom. Kids slept on the sofa bed in the living room. The sofa bed is super easy to pull out. Light weight, easy to figure out. The chaise end of the sofa lifts up to reveal the bedding. Kids absolutely love it. There are legos showing the apartment number on the door. There are also circular place mats on the coffee table and the dining table (in the smaller room without windows behind the living room) that made the tables look like Lego pieces--great touch! Everything was spotless, super clean. The kitchen has a sink, fridge, the hob with two burners is electric and stored in the cupboard. Thus, if you are not cooking, you have more counter space. There is a dishwasher. There were sufficient towels and bedding for our family. There are very cute Lego coat hangers on the wall. There is a large grocery store less than one block away (on the other side of a parking lot and smaller burger restaurant). There are multiple restaurants and a lovely bakery (opens early to provide coffee and pastries!) a block in the other directions. Where the big grocery store closed earlier, there was a Reema 3 blocks away open until 10pm. The food in Lego House, Legoland and many of the restaurants in Billund is $$$. Thus, groceries are a great option for cutting costs. The fridge and apartment make that easy. We also enjoyed the free parking right in front of the house. We had booked Lego House in advance including booking the time (required) and restaurant.

The only challenge for us was that the instructions said the lockbox was to the left of the door. When we got there there were two doors in the front, one with a lockbox to the left (this apartment was occupied) and the other door without a lockbox. We were trying to call the owner but no one picked up. I tried calling booking.com but it just a gave a message "we'll get back to you in 24 hours." This was momentarily distressing until the owner messaged back to say that the door with no lockbox was unlocked and that the door we were looking for was an inner door. Once we had that info, it was quite easy. The label on the door with no lockbox said "Apartment 1234" which I read mistakenly as "1234" not as apartments 1-4.

Nimic major, ne-am fi dorit niste perne mai mici si sa nu scartaie podeaua noaptea in dormitor.

Die Wohnung hat uns an sich super gefallen.

Die Schlafcouch war leider sehr unbequem. Für eine Nacht war es okay. Aber für einen richtigen Urlaub wäre es absolut nicht gegangen. Für zwei Personen alles super. Jede Person mehr durch die Schlafcouch keine gute Idee.

A soli due passi da Lego House e quindi in centro. Parcheggio privato. Pulizia. Check in in autonomia con codice.

Pavimento in parquet un po’ cigolante e letto matrimoniale anch’esso un po’ cigolante. Lascerei istruzioni per utilizzo del fornello. Potevamo chiedere ma poi abbiamo deciso di non usarli. Viene richiesto di togliere lenzuola usate.
