The Loose Moose Cabin #9 at Downtown Grand Lake

Great location, updated nicely, quiet, cozy, everything that I needed for the two night stay. It was nice that the host reached out to set me up for what to expect as did some of the previous reviews.

There really was nothing that I “disliked”. I could never get the fireplace to work. When I arrived it was set in the all the way on position. I could not hear any propane/gas in the pipe. I adjusted the valve but still nothing. I left both the valve and the thermostat in the off position.

Love the amenities & cozy atmosphere of this historic remodeled cabin in downtown Grand Lake.

Location was good. The space was a nice size

No washer as advertised - asked for a rebate and they agreed to 10% since it was their error on the website. Had to haul my clothes to the laundromat Fully equipped kitchen meant a microwave, small fridge and coffee maker, the same as all other hotels rooms. The only addition was a few cups, plates and silverware but had to wash in the bathroom since. The bathroom had a window with no covering so had to hang one of our towels on it. Sheet had a nice sized hole in it Way too many problems for a $200/night room rate

The cabin was comfortable and clean. Bed was OK. Good location and very quiet.

First of all Booking.com messed up and we were expecting a full kitchen. There were no instructions re how to get hot water so time was wasted on phone call and texts. Likewise with the TV but finally figured it out. Windows very dirty and difficult to open and a couple of screens were loose.
