Simona's old town home / Free Parking

The location and included parking are a huge plus, especially in this area. We really liked the brightness and decoration of the apartment. There was plenty of seating, storage, and everything you needed for cooking. The bed was comfortable and with the milder temperature during our visit the portable AC worked well though it does take some creativity to get the hose to stay in the window. Parking was a little tricky sometimes as the lot is small, but with the smaller car we had it wasn't bad at all. You can't beat the location; it's a 5 min walk to everything, and you can see the castle banners out the window. You do have to go up a couple flights of stairs to get to the apartment, so keep that in mind when packing, but we didn't find it difficult. Overall, it was a great, nicely decorated and very comfortable apartment in a great location with free parking and the hosts were great.

The apartment has seen some significant wear since the pictures were taken. There was a good bit of flooring damage and things are just generally more worn. Also, even though the description states washer only, there is a dryer in the pictures which is a little misleading. The single small drying rack wasn't enough to dry a full load of laundry. I would have liked a second or a larger one. The biggest issue though is the TV. It is a brand name, 4k smart TV, but for some reason it just doesn't want to work. Constantly turns itself off, takes 5-10 min to start up every time, constantly needs to be reconnected to the internet. It's honestly, so bad that I wouldn't consider the apartment as even having a TV, it's simply unusable.

Great location and dedicated area to park the car at no extra charge. Petit Cafe just across the street is wonderful for coffee and pastries to go or delicious full breakfast and dinner.

The duvet and pillow coverings could use updating. There was an extra pillow to use but no additional pillowcases. Be aware that the apartment is up flights of stairs.

Location

Entrance to the parking is quite tight for a large car like ours and this is not mentioned in the description. I damaged my tire trying to enter. The dishwasher smelled disgusting like there is rotten meat inside of it. The smell was spreading all over the place. Be careful with the bed. It is positioned on an elevated platform (totally unnecessary in my opinion) with couple of stir steps leading to it. If you stand in the dark, the risk of injury is high.

A piece of Ljubljana. Very cute apartment with super good location. Just a short walk and you are in the heart of the city.
