Bahay ni Asik - Homestay near SM City

The hosts were super helpful in terms of helping with directions, local activities & allowing me to use one of their bicycles. The location was great near the SN Mall & my room was large with a window &:desk

I didn't have any complaints or problems.

I stayed at this homestay in a village and had such a great time. It felt super safe, just a short walk, about 10 minutes to/from SM Davao. The house itself is adorable, clean, and cozy. Bonus points for the cute cat that made it feel like home. The host was awesome, giving me cool tips for my short trip. I even left some stuff behind when I went to climb Mt. Apo, and I didn’t stress about it because I knew it was in good hands. My room was so pretty and had a nice desk for me to work at. There's a huge cabinet and hangers for your clothes. Good lighting and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean, and while there wasn't a heater, it wasn't a big deal given the pleasant water temperature. Towards the end of my stay, I had a request, and the host was incredibly accommodating. Overall, it was a great and comfy stay—I’d recommend it!

It's a personal preference, but I like showers with a hose rather than a fixed one. However, even with a still shower, my stay was still fantastic.

The silence and the hosts

Went to Davao to take my board exam held at PRC RDavao which is just walking distance from the homestay. As I am writing this review, I just got my results from my exam and I passed, and this homestay really helped me. My stay was hassle-free, as all amenities functioned smoothly, creating a quiet environment crucial for studying and resting during my exam preps. Even though this is just a homestay and I have to live with someone else, it doesn't bother me at all since the host never disturb/bother me. The homestay's secure location within a village added to my sense of safety. Additionally, its proximity to SM, convenience stores and restos ensured numerous options for Grab food delivery and easy access to Grab car services.
