Alta Vista Studios - ex Lekka's House

Απαράδεκτη εμπειρία και πλήρης παραπλάνηση. Μας παρέδωσαν αρχικά δωμάτιο που δεν υπάρχει σε καμία φωτογραφία της αγγελίας, με έντονη δυσοσμία και σοβαρά προβλήματα καθαριότητας (τρίχες στη λεκάνη, έντομα στα σεντόνια, έλλειψη βασικών ειδών). Μετά από ώρες ταλαιπωρίας έγινε αλλαγή δωματίου, χωρίς ουσιαστική βελτίωση. Στο δεύτερο δωμάτιο υπήρχαν κατσαρίδες στον χώρο όπου στέγνωναν τα μπιμπερό, κάτι επικίνδυνο και απαράδεκτο, ειδικά όταν ταξιδεύεις με μωρό. Παροχές που αναγράφονται στην αγγελία δεν υπήρχαν, ενώ ο εξοπλισμός ήταν ελλιπής. Η φασαρία όλη τη νύχτα από σκυλιά και ιδιοκτήτες έκανε τον ύπνο αδύνατο. Το κατάλυμα δεν πληροί βασικές προϋποθέσεις υγιεινής και ειλικρίνειας.

The cleaning ladies were extremely helpful. The area is beautiful and mostly quiet (the noise came from inside the building). The nice cat sleeping on top of the coffee machine :-)

Very disappointing management. The apartment did not have anything to clean. Since there is no reception, we called the manager to ask for a broom and a mop but never got a reply from him (even after texting him at a decent time in the morning). We didn't want any cleaning services but wanted to keep the place clean as we used it (crumbs, spilled water... who waits for the staff for that?). Since there was no reply, we had to buy the basics at the nearby supermarket. Under the kitchen cabinet the humidity smell was terrible and there's very little room to cook, so it gets messy quickly. The shower curtain was useless so water spilled every time we took a shower. By the end of our stay we managed to talk to the cleaners and they gave us a mop. The kitchen is practically bereft of appliances and utensils, only the very basic. Preparing a meal for 2 was quite a task (see pics), but fixing breakfast was OK. (If you book a room with a kitchen because of food intolerances, pass, it was quite frustrating to be obliged to eat out). The building is very noisy, creaking doors, loud voices, and the barking of two big dogs that live with the manager on the top floor (not the dog's fault of course, they are probably alone most of the day). Had I read the reply to a bad review from the manager, I would have never booked here. The price is quite standard for a functional-not-fancy place in Greece, so it'll be much more productive to hear what customers say instead of being defensive to feedback.

Το δωμάτιο ήταν άνετο, η υποδοχή όπως έπρεπε να είναι και είχε πολύ καλό πάρκινγκ.! Περάσαμε όμορφα και αν ξανα-επισκεπτομασταν την Μονεμβασιά θα μέναμε πάλι στο Alta Vista!
