Positives: - Beautiful old building with tall, graceful doors that opened onto a good-sized balcony. - Two large, spacious rooms with lots of closet space. - Central to everything - the duomo was so close you felt like you could reach out and touch it, the main shopping street was a block away, and there is a supermarket close by too. The lake was 5 minutes walk. - Ironing board and iron is provided. - Bed was reasonably comfortable, pillows were better than many that we experienced on our trip but not great.

Negatives: - The sofa in the living room area was stained and looked grubby and unappealing. - The provided towels were mostly worn out; one even had a hole in it. We really expected more at this price point. - Very basic bathroom. - Nothing is provided in the way of toiletries except a few sachets of liquid soap. - Minimally equipped kitchen; no coffee machine or coffee (though excellent coffee can be bought in the square right outside the front door), . - No soundproofing on the windows allowing loud street noise until past 1am and loud church bells starting at 8am (though to be fair, the latter can be heard all over central Como).
