Style 1BR Appartment in Kemi - Tornio

The owner called me on the day of arrival. She said the apartment was no longer available and found me a Small studio apartment.

I didn’t like that the owner changed the apartment later on the day of arrival.

We ordered and payed 1BR in Kemi. But just hrs before arrival the land lady called to say it was allready taken. But she had one more beautiful appartment to offer in Torneo. We had allready payed non refundable so we had no choice. One review for the appartment in Torneo say she did the same for them. Then she said we had to pay for linning because she did not allow private linning. She bought us two btls of wine because it was too late for us to buy at arrival. We left 60 eur on the table for wine and linning. But she accuses us for not to have done. Then there was a lot of things with key and broken key box. And keys in possesion of cleaning laydies. Be careful ! The appartment was spasious but very warm with no ventilation on master bedroom facing the main streat. Very bad sheets

Host suggested new location which was better.

Host should let us know the change of location in advance.

Room facilities and location are good

I only stayed here for one day and it was indeed a nightmare experience. After checking out, I said there was a cigarette smell in the room and I was charged a fine of 500 euros. However, I am a non-smoker and do not smoke e-cigarettes. Where did the cigarette smell come from? I also tried my best to explain. The landlord's attitude was not good and he yelled at me. No matter how I tried to explain, I chose to call the police. I will make a report on Monday. I highly suspect that this is a way of blackmailing me. I live in Finland and sent it to me. If I have never encountered such injustice, I will definitely fight it to the end.
