Lovely 1 Bed Studio 4B near Royal Infirmary and DMU

Good location and not difficult to locate entrance. Check-in instructions were pretty straightforward.

The room didn't look clean as shown in the photos on booking.com. Shower was dirty, lot of stains and mould as seen in photos attached. The room was too cold. Heating only comes on for like 5 minutes and goes off automatically. You can't be waking up every 5 minutes at night to turn heating back on so be assured of very cold nights. I contacted the host, was not responsive. Only responded to me after 2 days of being in the cold. She told me to try something else and get back to her if it doesn't work, so she can change the settings remotely. I reached back to her, no response until she sent me the check-out instructions.

Central location, parking right opposite the building. Room was cozy and comfortable.

Room did get quite warm at times but no fault of the property.

Very compact. Everything was easy to reach. Nice cooking facilities. Very comfy bed.

Very hot when we came in. Our room was on the top floor and the rising heat was a problem. We had to open the windows and keep them open all day so that the room was cool enough to sleep in at night.

We were moved to 3A because 4B was unavailable, so review is for there: great value, location and facilities. Very comfortable and perfect for our needs. Really good size bathroom.

The only slight downside was that the fridge door was rather difficult to shut (in 3A), but we only had juice and water in there anyway.

The bed mattress was a bit too hard ...
