Wijenayake's - Beach Haven Guest House - Galle Fort

It was spotlessly clean and in a great location in the fort. The staff were kind and very helpful. Really nice breakfast. Good value for money.

It feels worn in places, e.g. rust in the bathroom. There were quite a few ants in the room and bathroom, also on the terrace. There was a lot of noise very late into the night on both nights I stayed. Not the guesthouse’s fault - there were signs asking to keep quiet so not sure what else they can do.

Great location in Galle old fort. Staff very helpful and friendly. Good size rooms and great breakfast.

Found the walks a bit thin and heard lots of loud talking from next door room. Did not get a good sleep as a result.

Breakfast was massive - while amazing I dont think they need to offer us that much! Staff were very friendly and welcoming and helpful carryng bags etc. Perfect location! Right in the middle of things. Room was comfortable and had all that we needed - I requested two beds which was acomoodated.

Friendly guest house in a quiet area of Fort Galle. The rooms are small but comfortable, with an enjoyable balcony for sitting out. I like that the kitchen is open for tea and coffee any time. Breakfast is excellent. A good recommendation.
