Kokkari's Destiny - at the heart of the City Center

I had a wonderful stay at Kokkari’s Destiny Apartment. The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully located, making it the perfect base to enjoy Kokkari and the surrounding area. Everything was well organized and thoughtfully prepared, which made the stay feel very relaxing and easy. A special thank you to the host, Elena, who was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout the entire stay. She was always available if needed, gave great local recommendations, and made sure everything was perfect from check-in to check-out. I highly recommend Kokkari’s Destiny Apartment to anyone visiting the area. It’s a fantastic place to stay.

Good location, cute interior. Spacious enough for 2-3 people with an equipped kitchen and clean facilities. The host was very responsive and communication was easy.

The nonexistent soundproofing really messed up our stay. I booked this place taking the overall rating into account, but I wish I’d read the reviews. We were in the upstairs apartment and it is not an exaggeration when I say that we could hear anything that was going on below us. In this apartment, it’s like your neighbors are in your bedroom. Our bedroom was directly above downstairs apartment’s bathroom and I wish I was kidding when I said that we heard our neighbors’ bowel movements as they were happening, and not only once… Moreover, we heard the person on the other end of the line as the neighbor was talking on the phone! Apart from soundproofing, they had put only one roll of toilet paper. We didn’t feel the need to check whether there were extras beforehand (because what host doesn’t put extra toilet paper for a 5-night stay?) so it was an unpleasant experience going out of it at 23:00 and going 14 hours without a new roll, until the host dropped off more.

Friendly owner and the stay was clean and spacious with everything you need. Perfectly situated and close to the beach.

The house consists of two apartments, there is no wall that divides them !! Means only a thin wooden floor, we had zero privacy as we could hear every single word and step of the people underneath us. It sounded like they were in the same room. We couldn’t sleep at night and woke up very early as there were little kids. Also we didn’t feel comfortable at all as they also could hear everything that we’re doing.

It's in the center of Kokkari

It's a ground floor with limited windows, no air current and humidity. It doesn't have a shower - you need to shower on top of the toilet seat and the sink. On the floor above, there is another airbnb of the same owner and you can hear them walking, snoring, talking. There is zero privacy and quiet. I'm against Airbnb culture because it's become an impersonal room service that doesn't serve the community. I didn't know that booking from booking.com I would stay at an airbnb. This place is an impersonal airbnb in which you do not interact with anyone at any point. Being greek, it saddens me.

Loved the location of the property. Close to the centre but in a quiet street. Comfy beds and well kitted out.
