J&J Home T2 next to Pinhal Velho, Terraces of Pinhal, Vilamoura

Spatious appartment, very comfortable inside, with wide terrace. Approachable owner, very helpful. Stable WIFI. Swimming pool just downstairs.

Needs handyman visit as small things dont work (e.g. some chairs are broken). Neighbors are not very welcome of tourists.

O condomínio é muito sossegado e muito bem localizado. O apartamento é muito bom para passar umas férias com a família e amigos. Limpeza exímia, decoração cuidada e todas as comodidades para desfrutar de uns óptimos dias pelo Sul. 🙂 Agradecemos a hospitalidade ao Sr. António que nos recebeu muito bem e se mostrou sempre disponível para qualquer questão. Sem dúvida a repetir.

Antonio came to meet us on arrival, gave us the keys, then gave us a tour of the grounds and apartment. The apartment is on the 2nd level. The building is secure via keypads and locks so we felt really safe. There is also a lift which came in very handy. He ensured we were happy with how everything worked and answered any questions that we had. Our flight arrived earlier than planned so we were able to get access to the apartment which was appreciated. The apartment is only a 25-30 min car journey from Faro Airport. The apartment is air conditioned, has a large veranda which overlooks the pool. The pool is spacious and very clean. Water temperature was really comfortable. The kitchen is spacious ad comes with various utensils for use. Bedrooms were a good size. Secure car parking area which has an allocated parking space for the guests of the apartment. There is a new supermarket nearby which is a 10 minute walk. If you are looking for a quiet holiday, then this area is ideal. Lovely restaurants down at the marina as well as lovely beaches. We had to purchase a beach umbrella as it was really warm some days. We couldn't bring this home, so it has been left in the apartment on the veranda beside the kitchen for future guests to use. Having one in the apartment would have been good. Overall, we had a lovely holiday in Villamoura.

Outwith being able to walk to the supermarket, you do need a car to get around for shops, restaurants etc. The marina is a 10 minute car journey however this would likely take around 45 minutes to walk to. At the swimming pool, each apartment have their own sun loungers. For this apartment, there are 2 green loungers which come with no cushions. It wasnt ideal for a family of 4 as 2 people had to put towels down on the grass (which was comfortable) but it would have been nice to lie out and sunbathe in comfort. The loungers were hard and not really comfortable. We ended up lying on the grass most of the time.

Very clean, spacious, comfortable and the property had everything needed for 2 adults and 4 children. Meet the owner on arrival, very kind and cheerful gentleman. Gave us a tour of his property and grounds.

Nothing we didn’t like, all our needs were catered for.
