The apartment wasnt bad for the money.

The apartment smelled strongly like weed. There were a few issues that I reached out to the property manager for but weren’t resolved on our stay or even any kind of accommodations offered. Wasn’t aware it was right next to active train tracks.

NOTHING TO LIKE: The apartment has a certain shabby chic, that could appeal to some - if they don't mind returning back to it, after dark, to see the apartment door wide open and a strange man walking out of it, as did I, my second night there. Fortunately, he didn't have my laptop in hand. So, that kinda destroyed that whole 'shabby chic' thing.

I REALLY DIDN'T LIKE returning to the apartment on my second night there and seeing a complete stranger walking out of my apartment I REALLY DIDN'T LIKE when, after I initially notified management, and they said they would take action, they completely ignored my calls and texts for the next 13 hours I REALLY DIDN'T LIKE that their maintenance man, who didn't arrive for 18 hours after my initial notification to management and was supposed to change the code, but just looked at the door lock and said 'it works ' and then left- without even changing the door code I REALLY DIDN'T LIKE - that there were no smoke or carbon monoxide detectors - that the thermostat didn't work - that the ceiling light in the living room didn't work - that the ceiling fan in the dining room didn't work - that there was black mold on the bathroom ceiling - that the tub was far from clean I REALLY DIDN'T LIKE when management moved me to another apartment, 21 hours after I initially contacted them, that it DID NOT HAVE A WORKING TOILET I REALLY DIDN'T LIKE when the maintenance man arrived 13 hours after I notified management that the toilet didn't work, he rang the door bell ( that also didn't work ), and then just left because I didn't answer the door, with the bell that was broken and made no sound to let me know he was there. He saw my car according to management, but still chose not to knock on the door or call or even text to let me know he was there I REALLY DIDN'T LIKE when after 20 hours of having to search the city for a working toilet every time I had to poop, because management still hadn't fixed the toilet, they sent these three separate texts: 'I tell you what. If you want to be rude I’ll have you out of the apartment tomorrow' 'In fact, why don’t you leave tomorrow. I’m done with you being rude to my employees. 'Be out tomorrow by 11.

I guess the apartment is nice. I'm not really sure, tho cuz when I arrived, I still had not been given door codes to get in. I contacted the hotel, and they had no clue that I had booked and paid for the room, and told me that the apartment was not ready for me - this was at 8 pm. Fortunately, they had another apartment available, and I was able to stay there. I say, fortunately, cuz the other outcome would have been leaving me stranded after having reserved and paid in full for the apartment. Absolutely unacceptable incompetent management.

I did not appreciate their failure to actually even be aware of my reservation Zero commitment to responsible management

The upper unit was comfy. It was clean for he most part. It was stocked with necessities. The rooms are a decent size. The internet works good. The neighbors are nice. It is a good place to stay at when needed. There is also a porch off of the living room to kick it on

It is located by train tracks, so it does get a little loud at times. But it's not too often . Other than that, it's a good place to be
