Cosy CBD Studio Apartment 12

Location was very good. Easy walking distance to the city centre. Apartment was very clean and modern. It had all the facilities we required for a three night stay.

Had a couple of issues with the oven. Had to turn on and off several times before it would work. Parking was a bit of an issue - very busy street for parking.

Location is perfect. Close to jb hifi and chemist. The place is so clean and comfortable. Will check in again in the future.

The name Cosy CBD made me think the apartment might be very tiny. It was fine for a few nights. Good size kitchen and bathroom. The bed was a tilt a bed and I thought it might not be so comfortable but it was good. Top quality bed linen, towels etc made it feel extra special. Lovely big deck with a rattan couch on it and as the deck was west facing, we were able to enjoy an unexpected sunset with a glass of wine in hand (obviously we were lucky with the weather being early September (not so lucky the next night when it was raining and cold!) Also the apartment was very close to a big New World supermarket (200m approx) so we were able to pick up our meals for the two nights we were there and prepare them in the full size kitchen. And having pepper, salt and oil available was excellent.

The view over car yards wasn't great but the setting sun made up for that. Disappointed to find that things were missing in the kitchen i.e. there was only one dinner knife, one bowl and the paper towel roll had one square of paper left on it. I sent a message to the managers but this was not rectified during our stay. I did get two phone calls when we arrived but at that stage had not identified the missing stuff. Also, the wine glasses were "bubbles" type glasses. Some decent wine glasses would make a big difference. There was nowhere to hang clothes except over the back of the dining chair. Not ideal when you are travelling for work.

I loved this apartment. Immaculately clean, blissfully quiet and tastefully modern. It's always a bonus to have a dishwasher and washing machine. A charming surprise - a hot water bottle tucked away in the cupboard, perfect for chilly evenings. Good quality towels added to the overall feeling of comfort. Parking on Wilmer St can be a bit unpredictable but we knew that before we booked. The location is excellent being really close to a New World supermarket with a cafe attached. Great communication with a cute message when we were leaving reminding us to check that we have packed all our belongings etc. Very friendly tone.

Instead of 2 settings of cutlery, we were missing 1 teaspoon and 1 knife in the cutlery drawer.

great location, a short 1km from the middle of town which was great for getting the blood flowing on a cold morning!

Very nice little studio apartment. Like brand new. Just sent us a code to use door. Beautiful

2nd floor but not a big problem

Absolutely everything, it had all I could have asked for. Soundproofing was great, laundry within the kitchen, heat pump and a small deck. Secure apartment in a convenient location near town and close to a great New World.

Nil. But if I was to change anything super minor it would be the placement of the tv - maybe a little higher or so it could be swivelled and watched from the dining area also. But honestly, everything was awesome. Best place I’ve ever stayed. I’ll be back :)

Apartment is brand new so hard to fault, location is super central! Perfect for us as we wanted to reconnect with post earthquake CBD by foot …
