US$1 pp cab ride from the airport…a tad too far in the heat…Ours hosts, Virginia and Georgia, were exceptionally nice, and made us varied, delicious homemade breakfasts. And, talk about LOCATION! We were close enough to walk to the pier to take the panga to/from Little Corn, and close enough to walk the other direction to our favorite beach-Summer Beach. Our B&B had beach towels in the room. The Main Street is directly in front of Sunset Bay B &B, and then there’s the beautiful Caribbean Sea! It’s also five minutes from Carla’s coconut shack, where we enjoyed cold coconuts, and there are small market stalls nearby. The B&B is tastefully, colorfully decorated, open-air, but sheltered from the rain-you feel one with the sea! Our AC room was cozy and clean. Tables in the interior/ exterior areas to hang out. This was our favorite stay during our 4 week visit to Nicaragua.

NLPerfect location , clean , near the a beach some little bar and restaurant and also from walking distance to the muele tk take the panga for little corn island. And the breakfast is amazing!

The location is probably the main negative. Its not terribly out of the way. But you are looking at a agood 20 min walk anywhere. And the cost was fine for us, borderline more expensive but nowhere near unreasonable.
USA small line of beach is available right across the street from the hotel. Arenas beach is within walking distance along with Frankie’s bike rental. The facility was clean, comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. The best part of the stay is the staff especially Virginia! Highly recommend the hotel for your stay on Big Corn.

CACAThe staff were very friendly and made us feel so welcome on the island, helping with finding restaurants and such. The place itself is very cute with some cozy spaces to sit and visit. They have obviously done upkeep on it because the spaces and rooms are freshly painted and look great! They also have little water heaters on the shower heads so you do have warm showers which we found uncommon in the Corn Islands. The breakfast was delicious and served at a time that worked for our flight going out that day. We only stayed for one day/night so we didn’t get to spend a lot of time there but we all enjoyed it. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone staying on the island!
The beach across was sandy but the water had some rocks a few feet in. We still used and enjoyed it, but some people may prefer to have water shoes.
ESI really enjoyed sunset bay, and Giorgia made the staying very special. the breakfast was always good and she cooked a delicious lobster.
the only downside was the wifi. it didn’t work at all along my stay whilst it did in the restaurants in the island. my suggestion is to change the provider as this is really important for travellers.
