Very nice host and very good location. Large place, quiet, good facilities

We stayed two nights at Antico Borgo 7, and I left with a full heart. The location is ideal—just outside the historic walls of Montepulciano, with free parking at the door and the town’s timeless charm only a short stroll away. From the windows, we gazed out at the soul-soothing beauty of Tuscany: gentle hills, sun-drenched vineyards, cypress trees swaying in the breeze… and sunsets that felt like a gift. The apartment itself is spacious, spotless, and full of grace—thoughtfully designed, warmly furnished, and full of light. Two lovely bedrooms with cloud-soft beds, two modern bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living area, and excellent Wi-Fi. Every room has AC and additional fans for comfort. It felt not like a rental, but like being welcomed into someone’s beautiful home. And then there is Suzy—the heart of this place. From the moment we met, I felt her goodness and warmth. She cared for us with such kindness and generosity. My daughter has severe food allergies, and Suzy not only understood—she made sure my daughter could dine safely and joyfully. She arranged not just one, but several meals for us at Antica Trattoria Il Marzocco, a gem of a restaurant, where the chef was personally informed of every detail. The food was exquisite, the service full of heart, and Suzy made it all feel effortless. Her care went beyond hospitality—it was deeply human, and full of love. I only wish I spoke Italian, so I could tell her in her own beautiful language how deeply touched we were. Suzy is a rare and radiant host. I fell in love with Montepulciano—and if life ever brings me back, I know exactly where I’ll stay. This place, and the heart behind it, will stay with me always.

Location was wonderful; apartment was beautiful and very well appointed. Host was warm and very helpful. The apartment was close enough to walk to all attractions and had parking as well.

Water pressure was a bit low. Another pet peeve of mine is rain showers - my question is why are they installed in any shower? Also, we had an issue with the AC being out most of the time we were there. Host did bring us floor fans but the temperature during the day was nearing 40 C a (around 100 Fahrenheit) so was a bit warm (AC was being repaired but unfortunately was not completed during our stay).
