Great location and views. We were surprised how quiet it was, given the central location. The apartment was very spacious and had all you needed for a short holiday - fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, coffee maker etc. It was good that a few basics like salt, pepper, tea and coffee were available. We would stay again despite the niggles we found which are listed below

The sofa bed is extremely uncomfortable and noisy. So much so it woke the guest staying in the bedroom each time l moved, so sleep wasn't great for either of us. We couldn't get the overhead shower to work so had to use the small hand held one. The shower base was badly cracked in one corner and it would benefit from a non slip shower mat on the base as it was very slippery. The main issue was accessing the apartment. Nothing was mentioned about having to do this and, despite receiving an email saying l would be contacted two days before, l didn't receive anything and had to phone. Only then did l discover it had to be done online. At the time l only had a new phone and had no idea how to scan documents and send them on. In all my years using Booking.com l have never been asked to do this and not everyone has a smart phone or scanner. The message said l would have to pay a security deposit on arrival. After managing, with help, to sort this, l got a message saying l would be told where to find the key when l landed. On arrival l was messaged, at the airport, saying l couldn't get the key till the security deposit was paid. I assumed that " on arrival" meant when we were given the keys at the apartment. Not so. We had to pay by credit card, filling in the online form, in the back of a pitch black taxi. After that was done a message was sent, with a picture showing the keys were under a stone in the garden. There are two little gardens at the location - one at the top of the steps next to the entrance door and another at the bottom of the steps. As it was dark we looked in the garden at the door as it was lighter there, found what looked like the stone but no keys. Eventually we found the keys, more by good luck in the bottom garden, as there was no light at all there. We are two ladies, in our 70's, it shouldn't be this difficult to find keys after travelling for nearly 10 hours.

We have stayed there before and they very kindly obliged us with an early check in. we only have breakfast there so kitchen review not applicable

A hook in bathroom for bath towels

The location was excellent- there was an issue with a second set of keys being missing but Luisa sorted this out for us and also sorted difficulties with picking up keys. One thing that needs attention is the sink in the bathroom which is barely draining and, therefore, makes it impossible to keep clean. However, overall we were very happy and have rebooked the apartment for September

The bed was uncomfortable. poor quality mattress.
