Urban Living with Wi-Fi, Balcony & Parking

Booked in March and paid in full!!! To drive down 5hrs later with a disabled child ( her birthday booked Harry Potter) and 6month old baby to be sat outside the property for two hrs waiting for reply until eventually booking. Com told us there unable to accommodate us!!

Excellent flat in excellent location, and very helpful hosts

Only minor issue was with parking. It is advertised as with parking, but this is not specified clearly enough. The parking is in public (chargeable) parking lots - although one is conveniently located across the road - this and another one close by are chargeable from 8:30 to 18:30, but with a maximum 4 hour stay, so if you wanted to leave you car for the day (e.g. go into London on the train for the day) you had to move it - also means every morning at 8:30 you have to go down to the car park and pay for that first 4 hours, then if your still at the flat at 12:30, go and move the car else where. As stated, only a minor issue, but still one that would prefer to have been fully aware of before booking.

All round brilliant - very short summary but extensive reviews written before - you will book this again and again.

It’s always sold out - as it’s great

I have booked many times. There are reasons why it’s always sold out. Pictures don’t really do it justice - it looks like a newly built and refurbished to high specifications flat. Location Cleaning Amenities Host Cost Functionality Facilities Ability to just relax Atmosphere Safety Ability to check in early / late Great shower Extra bedding View from balcony Comfortably - - all superb. I could add more

Stairs to the flat are a serious work out - but you book it again and again as it’s worth it.

Apartment with a lot of facilities and an excellent location in Rickmansworth - very short walks to station (underground on Metropolitan line, and fast (30 minutes) overground to Marylebone) and taxis, high street shops and cafes, aquadrome for lakeside walks, canal with lock and canal-boats, Waitrose and M&S only minutes away. The apparently quite new apartment was spacious and very clean with good views over the village and of the sunset. Everything one needs eg. dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, iron and ironing board, etc. Kitchen well equipped too. I didn't think the electric heating would be effective, but it was, assisted by the large area of south facing glass, which warmed the place up when it was sunny. Overall, the positives of the apartment clearly outweighed the few negatives. I could have happily lived in this apartment for a long period.

Bed and pillows were reasonably comfortable, but duvet a little heavy for my liking. Shower was a bath-tub kind and the push-pull drain hole was right where one stands; a bit of a nuisance. Also the shower water was OK but not quite as hot as I like it. The climb up to the fourth floor might not suit some people but I treated it as exercise. These are all minor quibbles.
