Beautiful villa, walking distance to Moraira. Plenty of bathrooms and pool and bath towels were provided. Very helpful with adjusting the check in times with having delays in flights!

Elche is perfectly located for a Moraira stay, a short drive into the town centre and to the local supermarket (walking is possible). The villa is at the end of a short narrow drive shared by the adjacent property. It’s worth noting that while parking on the property is possible, access for larger vehicles is very tight)

For context, we have been renting villas in the area for 20+ years. The property has a septic tank, and some obvious waste disposal issues. Guests are required to dispose of toilet paper in bins which is not stated in the property details. For families with young children, re-educating them not to dispose of toilet paper down the toilet is far from ideal. There are laminated posters taped by each toilet to warn you that the septic tank will be inspected following your departure, and that if there are any traces of toilet paper found or any blockages, you will lose your deposit. The pool is in a state of disrepair, with many tiles loose or missing. A significant number of the tiles on the stairs into the pool are missing and are a safety hazard. In addition to the ‘threatening’ messages stuck to the walls in each toilet, there is another list of rules taped to the wall in the living area, with a notice informing that breaking them would result in a loss of deposit. We arrived at a property to find only a thin sheet on each bed. It was too hot to sleep without air conditioning,, so thin blankets would be ideal. There was no additional bedding anywhere in the villa, and on enquiring with Avanoa, we were informed we would have to pay for additional bedding. The property is advertised as a property for 12 people, but the outdoor dining area only has seating for 6 people. While there is sufficient kitchenware (glasses, plates etc.) nothing matches, no 2 wine glasses/ plates/ bowls etc. are the same. The lack of outdoor lighting restricts use of the outdoor area in the evening. While there is an outdoor light, this requires to be plugged in, yet the cable isn’t long enough to reach any plug socket, and there is no suitable extension cable for this purpose. Reading a book or playing cards (for example) after dark isn’t possible. NOTE: Avanoa require a €300 deposit prior to arrival, which is not refunded until 7 days after departure.

Clean, location, value, separate areas for sub groups, good wifi, nice pool

Kitchen facilities adequate for smaller groups not for larger groups, hob and oven could do with an update. Parking for larger vehicles awkward.

The villa was absolutely perfect The location was perfect and so quiet. We will be back 100percent
