These are truly unique and beautiful houses located close to Faros. Mr and Mrs Lemoni offered us exceptional hospitality, with fresh eggs, lemon pies, fruits, and a spotless home. Their warm stories and heartfelt conversations made our stay even more special. They are truly kind, friendly, and caring people. Highly recommended!

The most incredible hosts - Sophia and Antonis were so lovely and hospitable - Sophia brought us fresh eggs every morning and made us Greek pastries and pitas.

Everything was perfect

For anyone seeking a stay in a typically Greek property away from the populated areas of Sifnos, Lemon Houses are the perfect destination. Only a short drive from the charming port of Faros, our house was spotlessly clean, perfectly equipped with everything you could need and with a large outdoor covered area at the rear with a view over the terraced hillsides. The house is a mixture of modern and traditional, the kitchen and bathroom being modern and spacious, whilst the living room is typically Cycladic with 2 bench seating fixtures which double as additional beds. But what sets this property apart is the warmth, generosity and kindness of the owners. From our extensive travels throughout Greece, we are more than used to Greek ‘philenoxia’ but Andonis and Sophia take this to the very top level and made a wonderful stay truly exceptional!! We can not thank them enough and hope to return to Lemon Houses again.

Anyone with mobility issues should be aware that currently, due to the limited size of the double bedroom, the bed is situated against the wall on one side meaning one person has to climb over the other to get in/out. However, the owners are considering removing one of the built-in wardrobes to enable the bed to be moved to provide access to both sides. We feel this would be an excellant idea that would remove the only negative comment that anyone could make about this otherwise lovely property.

The owners were incredible, providing surprise Greek food almost every day! Sofia and Adonis were discreet, and very friendly.

Cozy house with all the comforts needed. The house is in the middle between the sea and the city centre. Silent and perfect for relax. The hospitality of the hosts was incredible, we have been welcomed with fig jam and vegetables from their garden (and an exquisite lemon cake). Highly suggested.

Antonis and Sophia were the best hosts we’ve ever had! We felt so well taken care of and truly felt like we were staying with family. They were so welcoming, going above and beyond to drive us to dinner when our car rental fell through the first day and bringing us fresh eggs and vegetables from their garden! The house was beautiful and clean & the beds were so comfortable. It was the perfect size for our group (2 couples and 1 baby). We just left and miss it already!
