Nice flat in Lavapiés at street level S23C

Perfect location to walk around the city.

The neighbors were a bit loud during our stay and hot water was not always running

Be sure you get the upstairs apartment here--it is light and lovely. Lots of space, good air and wifi, appliances. Great bathroom. (The place feels new, so it needs a few things to make it work but you can't beat the space and location!~) And we loved this neighborhood.

Bathroom could use hooks for towels and a drain plug. A little bench or shelf in the shower for soaps and stuff. Kitchen could put cups lower and have a few more of them, provide more for washing up and drying. And if we're to be responsible for your garbage, given how pickup is at night in Madrid only, we need more garbage bags than just the one in the can! We also were sent into Apt A at first, which was inhabited, actually at street-level, and very stuffy, dark. SO happy it was a mistake and we were upstairs in Apt B!

Lovely clean apartment, which was decorated and maintained well. Good location not too far from the centre. A great choice for madrid and the owner was very friendly and helpful over text.

Was a bit small at times for our group. The electronic lock on the door sometimes didn't work, leaving us stuck outside.

Nice, comfortable flat. Sufficient bed and bath linnen.

1. It can be very loud in the street at night or guests from the bars in front stand smoking and talking right in front of the flat. Makes it hard to sleep in the front bedroom. 2. We had to bring our own coffee capsules....for the price we paid per night (about 250 euros), some coffee capsules could have made available, from my perspective. 3. The day after our arrival we already received instructions for our departure, which was 2 days later. I did not find this very pleasant, welcoming.

Awesome location and could walk to a lot of places from there. The Metro was only a few mins walk, lots of shops etc

The apartment was very comfortable, well equiped and very well located. We had no problems at all with the electrical lock on the door. There were many lovely restaurants, wine bars, grocery stores etc very close-by. The host Marta was very gracious and communicative which was very nice.

It is indeed in a small alley between two large streets and while charming, on days that the trash is put out you do sometimes need to step over the trash and while we did not smell urine, the trash can sometimes be unpleasant.

The apartment is situated on a small alley between two beautiful central streets, that is quite dark and smells like urine. The outdoor door digital lock was broken and it took sometimes ten minutes until we were able to leave the house or to come in. Thanks God there was no emergency. The second apartment in this entrance was located directly above ours and early in the morning we were awakened by the clatte of neighbors' children's feet.
