La seule inquiétude est si nous perdons notre cellulaire et que nous n’avons plus le code-lien internet pour entrer, que faisons-nous? Heureusement, ça ne nous est pas arrivé!

This is a stunning apartment. It seems to have been a luxury residence for a family either rich or from the nobility. The huge lounge/kitchen/diner has a high painted ceiling such as you might see in a stately home. The large main bedroom is ensuite, with a balcony and a dressing/storage room. Be aware, however, that there is a long staircase from the street door to the apartment door, with marble treads that have worn over the years. The next bit is really an alert, not a complaint, and, as I have found the same thing a few times before, it doesn't rate as a negative. There were only a few coffee pods and sugar sachets in the kitchen, nothing else. I imagine it is a fear of being sued or maybe insurance conditions that makes some hosts throw away anything cooking-related that guests leave behind, but when you are only there for a short stay it is a blessing to find some oil and condiments part-used by previous occupants. However, there is a small supermarket maybe 20 metres away and a bakery/cafe about the same distance on the other side. Be aware you'll need a smartphone to open the external doors; no keys. If you're driving, the underground car park they suggest is just 4-5 minutes' walk away; there is no parking outside the property.

Very spacious, well-equipped, and spotlessly clean apartment. Hot water, water pressure, the provided shampoo, soap were all five-star hotel quality. Pillows and mattresses felt new, very clean and very comfortable for us, not too firm nor too soft. You have everything you may need in the kitchen, a very good kettle and coffee machine, and a quality induction stove etc. there’s everything and all is high quality. Except for cereal bowls, they don’t have those and we knew that in advance thanks to other reviews so it wasn’t a problem for us.

Besides the steep stairs to the apartment, there are two other steps you constantly navigate inside the apartment (one little and one big) and my 70 year-old mother fell quite badly off the high single step heading toward the master bedroom. We were very fortunate she didn’t break anything. I recommend serious caution on this front. I want to rate the property higher for everything else that was excellent but the experience of the fall makes it hard for me to do so.
