Delightful property, thoughtfully and tastefully put together with small touches to make your stay feel like being at home.

Modern, good location

I unfortunately had allergic reactions to the dust as soon as I entered the property. My lips had swollen quite excessively and I was sneezing constantly/ eyes red and irritated. Symptoms only relieved /eased when leaving the property. I’m quite sensitive with dust and it seems that the property may have been quite dusty/damp as it’s an old building as I felt this immediately.

The property was easy to find and was in a great location, right opposite the castle ruins. There castle barge bar was a couple of mins walk (which we really enjoyed on a sunny evening) and Waitrose and the train station were only 5 mins. The property itself was beautifully furnished and had everything you need. The bottle of fizz and sparkling water were greatly appreciated We arrived on a very hot day, and the hosts had left a fan in the bedroom, which was a very welcome and thoughtful touch. I would highly recommend Chateau 9 neuf.

Property was beautifully furnished, in of course the French chic style, so gave a different to usual feel. The property was quirky and spacious and it was a delight to spend time there and we would certainly return

The only thing to raise is that in the property description on Booking. Com, it suggests that there is parking included. The parking is actually across the road. Only 50 metres or so but clearly there is a charge that applies and as the car park does not allow for a full day and evening ticket, then you do need to go back to the car park at 6pm to get the evening ticket and to return again at 8am to add a day/hourly ticket if you want to stay longer. Not a game changer by any means but a bit of a faff.

Absolutely gorgeous property, the place was immaculate! Bed comfy, shower great, bath lovely. Not one complaint!

Unique little gem of a place. Tastefully decorated throughout. Really nice touch with the bubbly.

We struggled with the stairs, that was our mobility issues though and nothing that can be helped.
