Le Rêve de Ian

The fully equipped apartment was in a quiet and nice area with chickens and iguana lizards you could watch from the veranda (or the sofa) which was both cozy and calming. The view was fantastic and the hosts were super nice. The internet worked perfectly. There was a fort within walking distance (up the hill after the pharmacy) with a view for miles, nice restaurants, an ice cream parlor :), and a three minute walk to a perfect beach which was a small bay, so we could swim even in strong winds. The bottom was fine sand, on the beach itself you could rent sun loungers. As for restaurants, we preferred Le Cabane de Pecheur which was very cozy and had very good food. On the other hand, we were not impressed by the hyped Chez Margeaux, they sold us way too expensive non-alcoholic drinks without showing the price anywhere, and the food was mediocre.

It was difficult to get a taxi there because there was no proper address.

La résidence manque d entretien. L'accès au logement est sale et malodorant. J avoue que lorsque nous sommes entrés dans la résidence on s' est posés quelques questions. Dommage parce que le logement est très bien.

Location is very good, view from the terrace is beautiful. Free parking almost in front of the house is handy. Shopping center is 1km away, a rotisserie lunch restaurant is opposite this center. Beach is clean and not packed, and is a 5min walk away. Jet skis available for renting. Overall a very fine place. Rose and her husband are very helpful and met us at the apartment. For people with rental cars: a DIY car wash is close by; it has vacuum cleaners, car wash stations and an automated car wash.

The lizard out back wouldn't let us take pictures of it. We'll get him next time.

Ligging, Vlak bij prachtige strand, 5 minuten lopen, met ligbedden, palmbomen en parasols. Prachtig baaitje waar ik dagelijks zeker 2 keer per dag zwom. Heerlijk. Huisje zelf prima, niet heel nieuw maar alles aanwezig en prachtig uitzicht op zee. We hebben er 5 heerlijke dagen gehad. Grand Terre is vanuit hier geheel goed te bezoeken. Afstanden goed te doen met huurauto. Aardige dame

Très bon adresse au Gosier. L’appartement est très propre & fonctionnel. Excellent rapport qualité prix.

L’emplacement face à la mer et à côté de tout (Leclerc, commerces divers, et près de pointe à pitre, jarry etc)

Les scolopendres et les coupures d’eau indépendants de la volonté des propriétaires
