Location. Amount of space. The neighborhood. The clubhouse. The pool! The owner was responsive on text through booking. The owner left us a chocolate bar and a bottle of wine which was really nice upon arrival. When the pool wasn’t heating for 2 days they sent out the person to inspect it and it began to heat well. Good amount of seating in the living and dining area. Good size kitchen and pantry. The pond out back is surrounded by nice grass and I took multiple walks around it.

I did not like that the house was in some disrepair. Very old and dirty carpet upstairs triggered all of our allergies. Carpet also torn up and frayed in an upstairs room. Cobwebs and dirt or mold build up on the very high windowsills. Multiple windows missing screens or had broken screens. The garbage disposal broken and sink does not drain well in kitchen. Bathrooms have multiple cracked and broken tiles. Many of the bedroom and bathroom doors still open when locked. The pool was not adequately heated for 2/6 of the days we paid for. There was not enough silverware for the amount of people the house can accommodate. Also, no big bowls or larger size pots for cooking large meals in this 8 bedroom house. Some of the outlets do not work. None of the rooms have fans or lights on the ceiling. There are light switches, but the only light source in all of the rooms is lamps. The downstairs air conditioner does not work well. It’s HOT downstairs and there were 3 standup fans available, but only one worked. The garage is cool with game room, but it is HOT and does not have any air flow or fans. With that said, the person I was texting with on booking noted all of the above and reported that they are having an inspector coming out soon and that they will be working on fixing what needs fixed.
