Offa's Hideaway - Wye Valley

Complete gem, a jewel in the forest. Totally private escape with lots of space to relax and plenty in the surrounding area to enjoy. The host could not have been more welcoming and we felt nothing would have been too much trouble if we had needed, but frankly everything was provided. Welcome pack was more than sufficient for a short break.Spacious bedroom, splendid morning bird song, in all an hideaway that should not be hidden.

The property itself was very private but was perfectly located for getting out on walks and adventures. We really loved the layout of the house and how much it felt like a home away from home

There was nothing that we did not enjoy. Both myself and my partner said how enjoyable the weekend away was

What a lovely place, real gem so close to lovely walks and the whole place was really cool and couldn’t have asked for more!

Beautiful location, secluded and peaceful. The property is lovely and the heated flooring and log burner was a bonus for the cold winter night! Lots of utensils for cooking, games and entertainment, and extras like a hairdryer, etc. The hosts were really lovely and responded to queries promptly! We’ll definitely look into coming back in the summer months as the area has lots of great activities and sights to explore.

Great location - the perfect mix of tucked away but not too remote. The log burner adds a comforting touch on a wet or cold day, and the whole place was clean and tidy.

The only suggestion would be a decent knife block - or at least a bread knife!

Loved the quiet location, surrounded by trees, the privacy, and the cosy comfortable interior and sheltered private outside veranda and ease of communication and checking in.

It would have benefited from a few simple additions including a mirror in the bedroom, a mirror above the sink in bathroom for shaving, and a bin in the bathroom.

Accommodation was perfect. Clean and had everything you needed for a break away in the Wye Valley. Situated on the path for Offas dyke. 2 pubs within walking distance. Peaceful at night, with just the sounds of the tawny owl in the distance. Host was available if needed, but we had no issues, so all went smoothly. Would definitely visit again.
