Horrible, when we arrived the room had not been cleaned... I tried to contact the landlord and he did not respond. The bed is VERY uncomfortable since it is too soft, the doors are difficult to open since they get stuck, including the one in the bathroom. Everything is very bad.

Adequately sized, comfortable bed. Great night sleep, especially as I could keep the window open. The use of the kitchen was indispensable. The bus into Cabot Circus is about 30 minutes or so. Hosts is usually quick to respond to messages.

Would have been great if the shower and toilet were separate, as when you're desperate for the toilet, you have to wait for the person to get out from using the shower. Another option was to dribble down the stairs to the other facilities 😀.

"Appalling stay, no support from booking.com, property owner unavailable, won't use booking.com again"

I am deeply dissatisfied and frustrated with the appalling service I have received both from Booking.com and Private Room 6 in Bristol concerning my booking in August. Despite repeated attempts to resolve this issue amicably, I have been met with broken promises, lack of transparency, and complete disregard for my concerns. I experienced a number of issues, among which a tiny double bed, a tiny bedroom, dirty bathroom facilities, broken room door lock forcing me to take my belongings away, lack of resolution from the property (they supplied a new key but never repaired the lock), and faulty and broken lockbox. Most and foremost, unavailability of the property. I repeatedly called and texted the property and they have never been available to pick up my call or to answer any of my texts. I tried SMS and WhatsApp. One of the telephone numbers listed does not exist, and the other one will never pick up or reply to texts. At one point, the property replied to one of my numerous emails that I sent through the booking.com platform, and assured me of a refund of two nights. However, despite multiple follow-ups and confirmations, neither Booking.com nor the property honoured this refund. At no point has anyone taken accountability or provided a satisfactory resolution. This situation has been handled unprofessionally and unacceptably. I was forced to check into another property nearby and have thus lost £102 due to negligence both from booking.com and from the property. I demanded rectification repeatedly yet this has not happened. I called Booking.com on the phone - had to call several times as the call would drop and was put in a queue with a 40 minute wait. I am now planning to share my negative experience across all available review platforms and social media. I have been a loyal booking.com member for years but as a result of this experience, I will never book through Booking.com again, and will strongly advise others to avoid the platform.

Amenities and room was good

Response from property owner is too poor, contact number was invalid and not working. The provided passcode for the keys is wrong i have almost waited for 1 hour 30 minutes to get the right code that too i tried many times contacting him through mail customer service even i felt very bad experience from booking.com customer support almost 40 minutes i am on hold on call to contact customer support even though it didn't connect to the agent

The shower was a good temperature. Bathroom & bedroom was reasonably clean. Big tv (although I did not get chance to use it). Getting the key was straightforward.

There was a funny smell in room 6 that hit me each time I went in to the room. I found the bed uncomfortable. It had no support whatsoever. The duvet and pillows were flat. The bed base was dirty. Bath towels were small and old. I am slim around my middle yet the towel just touched when I wrapped it around myself. I also wasn’t sure where to leave my towel as I found no information as to where to leave the wet towels when leaving the room. There was two extension leads running along the length of the room. There was no information in regards to what to do or where to go in the event of a fire. The postcode I was given is for the next street up from the house. It was by sheer luck that I actually found the property. When I copied and pasted the Wi-Fi password from the information that was sent to me it wasn’t accepted. Only when I tried the password printed in the kitchen was I able to latch onto the Wi-Fi - 2 minutes before I left the property. Parking for the property is basically on street parking in a side street as near to the property as you can find.
