V12 Apartments

The studio apartment (2) was clean and looks recently renovated. Fully equipped kitchen. Very good location. It is only a few minutes walk to Nyugati pályaudvar (main train station of Budapest). Host communicated quickly and well. WiFi worked well without problems. Aldi supermarket almost next door.

The bed is in a mezzanine floor and not much height. Only a child can stand up straight and adults cannot. This makes it very inconvenient to spend time in this 'floor' apart from sleeping. I bumped my head a couple of times when I woke up during my sleep before I got used to the height. Stairs were too narrow, almost like a ladder. Was not a problem for us, but not suitable for elderly people. Sink in the bathroom was too small. Each Comforter/duvet was a single person duvet and not very big. Not suitable for tall people.

The building us unusual. Nothing like we’ve seen before. Very interesting.

Celing in the sleeping area are really low.

The apartment was great, everything was nice and clean. Communication with the host is very pleasant and the location is excellent.

The owner texted me after even one night to ask me if everything was to our liking. We felt very clean in the apartment, and everything was washed and cleaned. The amount of utilities in the kitchen were mindblowing. You had way more than you would ever need or usually get. It was very spacious and have never seen such a good lock. The building itself looks a bit broken down and old. But the apartment was modern, and because of the lock, it made us feel very safe. In the link we got, everything was explained very well about what to do when and how to get in.

The showerhead leaked, but we could still use it. The A/C only heated up the upstairs, so downstairs, it was very cold.

The apartment is very close to the metro station, train station, and other groceries. You can easily walk to the National Parliament Building in fifteen minutes. The owner let me leave my luggage before check in time which saves me money and time.

The sink in the bathroom was very small. All the voices from the next room are hearable in our room. There was no TV in the room. The heating option was only the AC, and it only works to heat upstairs.

The apartment is surrounded by many facilities and services. Easy access to train, metro and bus stations.

The heating system can be improved, especially in the cold season.

How simple it all went. Both in terms of collecting the keys and finding the place. The location is very central to all relevant points that I need to visit and the apartment is in great condition.
