IEThis was a weekend away , mother and adult son . We have visited most of the coast going south so this was our base to visit St . Augustine, as well as to stay on a smaller independent place. Go for the decor if you are into that. Don't go if you want amenities. Also , we got there at 2.50 m, and were told it was a 9 minute wait to get into the room. While we were there there was a dangerous undertow and riptides so the beach was good for going for a long walk. If you want to be in a less developed " old Florida* type of area then this Inn would work for you. Seems to be popular with dog owners.
USUSVery helpful and friendly staff. Always there if you need something. Nice outside area “tiki bar” available to cook or just sit outside and enjoy the breeze. Available kayaks to rent (cheap) to take out on the river behind the property.
My wife and I are headed north after spending the winter in Florida and needed to stop for a night. This classic, Old Florida beachside motel in Flagler is a must stay for anyone in the area. It’s absolutely darling, the decor perfect and the staff friendly and welcoming. We plan on returning for a longer visit !

USWe absolutely loved our stay. From check-in to check out, everything was great! The atmosphere was amazing. It felt like we were in the Caribbean. We live in central Florida, but staycation a lot. We will definitely be back. I had to leave in a hurry, so I didn't get a chance to leave a nice note in the book.
