GBLocation is superb, the terrace is a nice addition as there is no living room. The kitchen has all necessary appliances. The apartment is bright and has lots of natural light despite being located in a narrow street. The host provided coffee and all necessary information including local maps. She also responded quickly on Whatsapp to all our queries.
The bedroom is located in a second and last floor which heats up a lot in summer days. You will need to sleep with the AC on. The shower temperature is really hard to regulate and constantly switches from very hot to cold. We could not manage to have a comfortable shower.
PLJimmy is so helpful and kind, it was our first time abroad and thanks to him and his advices the check-in and whole trip went smoothly and nice. The location of the apartment is just perfect - right in the heart of Palermo, with Quattro Canti 3 minute walk away. There is an AMAZING terrace from which you can hear the La Vucciria night life and sometimes watch wild geckos sneaking on the walls of old and beautiful Palermian buildings. There is also a balcony, on the other side of the apartment, that allows you to see the whole Via Ambra - pretty, tiny, super Italian and super atmospheric street with whole bunch of other balconies with drying laundry and potted plants, ending up on the San Domenico church view right in front. The same, and even better view you can see sitting on the bed, looking through the window above it - it’s an unforgettable experience. The whole apartment is really a pretty, well finished and aesthetic place that you will enjoy spending time in. Perfectly working air conditioning helps a lot.
The shower temperature control could work a little better, but it’s manageable. Jimmy please water the plants on the terrace, rosemary begged for help 😂
