Arkansas River -P- Glamour Yurt and Breakfast

Staff was nice, friendly and helpful with things to do. Breakfast was made fresh and super nice to have outdoors in nature.

Restroom were a short walk from the yurt.

Accommodating and clean. Used the sauna which was great. Hosts prepared a fire in the firepit. Night sky was amazing.

Leslie & Tyler are great folks; kind and generous. Breakfast time was very enjoyable. I honestly hate to give them less than a glowing review, but the place is definitely not "glamorous".

The yurts (or at least mine), left a lot to be desired. The floor was super weird, not screwed down, so it rocked and rolled all over the place. It was so bouncy that a cup of coffee would spill if left on the table when you walked around the yurt. Also, the zippered door was a total pain. The zipper was very fussy, not at all easy to zip up and down, so if you had to go in and out without letting flies in, it was not fun.

The views were wonderful. Hearing the river was a big plus. The hosts were wonderful! Night sky was amazing!

The floors of the yurt were somewhat unstable. A bit of a challenge for nighttime trip to the water closet!

The views were the bests! Bathroom and showers were very nice and clean. Our hosts were so nice and so knowledgeable about the area!!

The hosts were so personal and friendly. They have great energy and pride in their resort.

We stayed in a cabin rather than the yurt we'd booked. Tyler upgraded us to riverfront. Thanks! Cabin was great with garage door that opened to the river. Would have been nice to have a window to leave open at night when it was warm. We weren't comfortable leaving the garage door open and room was stuffy.

The beds were very comfy and warm, and the yurt was roomy and spotless, with a lovely skylight. We had pouring rain and not a drop came through, though there was no cover outside to protect from rain or sun (in a better week) Breakfast and s’mores were very good too. Bathrooms clean, with towels and even sunscreen and mosquito spray provided, but should be better lit at night. The people were really nice, providing WiFi extender, extra dry firewood etc

The yurt was good except centre floor panel wobbled badly so that things on the table fell down and you could trip in the dark. Also danger of falling over electric cord if the single light was placed so that two people could read or reach it easily from a bed. Basically, going to the bathroom at night was no easier than in a regular camp site, incl the danger of badly stumping your toes in the dark. But mostly, this place needs some landscaping and a screen of brush to hide that most yurts face other people‘s houses, backyards with old cars etc, at 100ft away. Only a few yurts are better placed facing greenery on the river side. The river is beautiful but the path down is steep and not exactly accessible. It seems the place is new though, the people are really nice and it will probably be much improved in a year.

The yurt was very cute! I like the hospitality that the owner providers on site all day. The fire at night with s’mores was our favorite part of the evening. It was very relaxing!

I was amazed at the location, cleanliness, comfort, and friendliness. I could not believe all the amenities offered to us. Lesly and her family did not miss one beat. She is a dynamo and made sure we had everything we needed in a moments notice. The food was amazing and it covered all of our dietary needs and wants. Lesly could not have done more for us in the way of accommodation. This place is amazing and I wish I could put it out to everyone. I have traveled many places in my life but it is rare to find a gem like this!

Fabulous stay all around from food to amenities! The owners truly put their heart into it! We will be back!!!
