The Blue House - Saint Pauls

Lo bueno es la ubicacion puedes hacer todo andando menos belen y los geronimos pero muy biien conectado con transporte

Mobiliario muy deteriorado. Las fotos son de todos los apartamentos que tiienen y confunden realmente donde vas, se que es agosto y temporada alta pero un poco caro por la calidad, nos toco un cuarto piso tipo guardilla.

The stairs was bad to the loft

The apartment was located in Misericórdia, right in the centre of historic Lisbon. Perfect location, A short walking distance to world famous tourist stops, among others Time Out market and Praça Europa and Cais do Sodré train stop for trains that go almost everywhere in Lisbon. The Blue room is situated on the 1st floor above a Vietnamese restaurant and the address can be particularly hard to find at night because of the crowds of people.The whole area comes alive at night bustling with noise and light. Restaurants, bars and cafes occupy much of the ground floor of all the surrounding properties while the higher floors are converted to accommodate tourists. The apartment itself is old, comfortable, spacious and well-equipped. The host has graciously provided capsule of fresh coffee as well as teabags. There is also a convenient 24-hr car park @Mercado da Ribeira, a very,very short distance away for those with cars.

The apartment is in an old building accessed via stairs, which are shared with other apartments which are higher up. The common area is need of repairs with plaster crumbling in many areas. The wooden stairs can be a hazard, particularly going up because the thread of the step overhangs the riser more than normal. This has cause my party to trip on a few occasions. Views from the rooms are not much to brag about.

Comfy beds, heat pumps in the living room and both bedrooms, so very cosy, two sets of keys (which was really convenient), privacy with shutters on the windows, but they still can let some light in. Small balcony with a clothes-rack. Pretty quiet at night - hardly heard a peep at night, though there are the joyful sounds of kids playing off an on during the day... The location was absolutely fabulous!! Walking distance to so many interesting sites, restaurants, bars etc. We'd be happy to stay again!

Minor things... The kitchen is a little basic, but all the equipment you could need is there to cook and eat. The apartment is on the 3rd floor with no elevator, but the staircase is pretty wide so even if you had suitcases you could get them up without too much hassle.

Great Location

It’s pretty high up there… so need strong legs lol and stairs going up it’s pretty scary and lights are not really bright
