La Conca D'Oro

Very spacious and light apartment (all in one room) with fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, bed, terrace up on a hill outside of Palermo center. The view from the huge glass window in front of the bed is absolutely stunning (unless you are a bit unlucky like us and there are thick clouds of sand coming from Africa). The house is fully equipped, parking is absolutely easy out on the main road. The owners are responsible and helpful and very nice and caring. It’s a super quiet and gorgeous space in the middle of the chaos of Palermo.

You have to know that you need to drive up the hill through tiny and crazy streets and Palermo center is not so easily accessible (about 20-30min by car). However - if you want a drink at night the hotel across the street is open for non-residents and they have a restaurant and bar up on the 4th floor.

Really tasteful apartment with good amenities and an absolutely FANTASTIC owner. I got sick during my stay and she made great effort to still let me have as good a time as possible. AND gave me fresh lemons and oranges from the garden.

No WiFi (02/2024) but that could change. Location is far away from everything and only reachable by car.

Abbiamo trascorso una settimana. Tutto a due passi dal centro città. Quiete. Aria fresca di collina. Piante in giardino varie e profumate. Casa luminosa e completa di tutto ciò che si desidera. Igiene perfetta. Spazio in casa ottimo. Terrazzo e giardino con vista città. Parcheggio facile. Proprietaria gentile e cortese.

Andar via l'unica cosa che non mi è piaciuta. Ma tanto ritorno....

Fuori Palermo ma facilmente raggiungibile in macchina e con ottima vista!

Una piccola pecca mancava il Wi-Fi e la linea del cellulare non prendeva benissimo quindi sarebbe meglio installare un modem
