We greatly appreciated this family's hospitality, their availability, and their organization in arranging various visits. The family's kindness exceeded our expectations, accompanying us when we were ill. The room offers a magnificent view, overlooking dozens of hot air balloons in the morning. The house is located a stone's throw from the Valley of the Kings, Queens, and Nobles, near Deir El Medina, the Colossi of Memnon, and Ramseum. A dining room, kitchen, and shared bathroom are available. A local breakfast is offered but is not included in the room price.

I have only positive things to say about the place, the hosts, the location, the view, and the price. Father and son were super friendly and welcomed us nicely—even when we arrived late. Plenty of space. Fabulous view. Excellent communication.

The kitchen could use a few extra tools (pots, pans, and dishes) haha :-)

Just few remarks that shouldn't stop you from booking this property: We discussed with the owner to add couple of signs as guidance for the drivers. If you will going to use their services to visit the surrounding attractions, would suggest to check the details of your trip to manage your expectations. The breakfast was very basic.

We booked 3 nights for our Luxor trip for me and my 4 friends (including one 6 year old). The host was very friendly, caring and helpful throughout our whole stay. Spoken decent English as well.They prepared a homemade Egyptian dinner for all of us for a small fee. The meal was delicious. The apartment was very spacious and clean with all the facilities as described. Amazing view of the mountain range from the balconies and it's really close to main points of interest. Collosuss of Mnemnon, Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens in walking range. Close to Nile and balloon flights take off, 30 min drive from Luxor. We could finally feel like we escaped the tourist rush and are part of the local community. Really exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this place.

The only downside I can think of is the fact that when we visited in early January the nights were pretty cold and there was no heating. But this is the case in whole Egypt so I wouldn't really count it as a disadvantage. The blankets were warm and cosy.
