A good vibe state of mind II

Property was comfortable and spacious, kitchen facilities were all good, hot tub was fantastic, my kids really enjoyed the arcade machine, there was a lot of space for us to move around.

We arrived from South Africa and cleared the airport at 08h00 after an exhausting 18 hour flight. We were not allowed to move in before 16h00 but I do understand that the previous occupants left late and left the place in a mess. There were 2 arcade machines and a table tennis table advertised in the listing but there was only 1 arcade machine and no table tennis table, leaving us a bit annoyed. The aircon unit was not working on our arrival so the first night was very hot, they were very good at putting a temp window unit in the lounge but that did not get through to the bedrooms, so another hot night. They did get it fixed on the 3rd day. The biggest setback we had was I broke out in bumps all over my body and thought I might have Measels or something but after leaving Atlanta and going to Dallas, I visited a doctor, paying $140 only to find out that I had been bitten by bed bugs. I have told the host and he said he will do a thorough cleaning. I had never experienced bed bugs before as we don't get them in South Africa. Not a nice experience at all.
