House Number 3

We had a great time in Mallow staying at Shirins place! The hosts are super welcoming and try to do everything to make you feel as comfortable as possible! Also the cat Lucy is extremely cute and cuddly! So overall we had some great days in Mallow.

The only small flaw was that there were few dishes for more than two people.

Overall a great stay. A very modern house, well suited for 1-3 visiters. Was given plenty of space and never felt like I was intruding. Very close to shops and only 20-25 minutes walk from a train station if needed. Hosts were very friendly and insightful on any matters relating to the house, Mallows, travelling, etc. Bonus points for the kitten Lucy, whom I will miss greatly. €129 for 2 nights stay is decent, if a bit on the more expensive side but made up for in fancy soaps, provided towels, a well insulated house, etc.

Due to the size of the house, there is no ensuite, thus the single bathroom downstairs is shared between everyone (but if that's your biggest worry, you've got nothing to fear as I was given plenty of space during my stay). The only other issue was the sheets and duvet covers in the main upstairs room were very strachy and scratchy which was difficult to sleep in. With no alternative, the best you could hope for is stripping the bed and sheets.

The home was absolutely lovely and as were our lovely hosts who made us feel most welcome. The house is in a super location and we walked to a lovely restaurant in town within 5 mins. We were only a 6 minute drive from our wedding out towards Dunoraile national park so it was super convenient. Our room was really comfortable and nicer than the photos. The house is just beautifuly decorated and very clean. The hosts clearly understand hospitality and and were prompt to respond at all times. The really care about their guests and I would have no hesitation in staying here again.
