The location is excellent for trips to Tunis centre with taxis available at all hours. The average cost is around 15 Tunisian Dinars and although Bolt no longer works we found the InDrive app very useful. The property is tucked away in a quiet street just a minute's walk from the hustle and bustle of Sidi Bou Said's main thoroughfare. The property itself is arranged over four floors if you include the top floor terrace with the the washing machine so might not be ideal if you are old, have mobility problems or if you're travelling with young children. There is a supermarket on the main high street 2 minutes away on foot which sells everything you need for breakfast as well as bulk packs of bottled water and there is an amazing patisserie next to a bakery just further down from there which we wished we'd discovered on the first day. Get there early as the chicken pastries run out quite quickly. You can also take a bus on the main high street for 1 Dinar per person into Tunis which drops you off a 15 minute walk from the Medina. It"s worth doing once just for the experience. Carthage with its captivating Roman history is a mere 6 Dinar taxi ride away from Sidi Bou Said.

Tout était au top, le logement est magnifique, très agréable et très propre. La terrasse pour se poser le soir ou pour le petite déjeuner est splendide. L hote Idriss est disponible et arrangeant. L'emplacement est en plein cœur de sidi bou said, pas besoin d'utiliser la voiture.

Idéalement situé, rue calme. C'est appréciable de pouvoir se garer dans la rue. Climatisation dans toutes les pièces plus que la bienvenue. Les deux salles de bain sont un plus en famille. Les chambres sont spacieuses. Supérette très appréciable avec juste après une boulangerie où le pain frais tous les matins est excellent. Un grand Carrefour est vite accessible en voiture. Au bout de la rue il y a le chemin piétonnier qui mène à la plage. Nous avons préféré la plage de Marsa qui est un peu plus propre.

Il manque un peu de matériel de cuisine. Il manque le balai qui permet de nettoyer lorsqu'on séjourne plusieurs jours. Les coussins de la terrasse pourraient être nettoyés.

Dodi, the owner, was super helpful and reponsive to all questions and requests. Self check-in went smoothly. The house is great and located on 4 floors (top floor being a rooftop..something to be mindful of in the event you have less mobile guests). The location is excellent : right in the middle of Sidi Bou Saïd and walking distance to everything and the back street has a downward sloping path that leads straight to the beach and port, which is a bit more local and less touristy. We had a lovely stay.

The dying rack can be replaced as it was rusty, and the dish towels too as they were oily, and parts of the kitchen could be cleaned more. Also a good idea to leave the washing machine open post wash as it gets mouldy otherwise.

Everything was very nice. The location is fantastic and the host was very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

Really lovely apartment, with everything you could want in a perfect location. We loved sitting on the roof terrace with coffee and a book. The apartment is on a quiet, safe, residential street, with a path down to the beach at the end of the road. Restaurants and shops very close by. Dodi, the owner, was extremely helpful.
