The view is supposed to be great just from the windows on a good weathered day. Unfortunately I can only imagine that coz it was really foggy on the day of my stay but I wouldn't blame it on the accommodation. Just my luck. The staff is very friendly and offered me a drink at the main dining hall even after their closing hour. Though there's no air conditioning,the room is still cosy with a nice bed. A fan is available if needed. The location is just next to an 24 hours convenience store and near the public bus stop. The famous walking trail is also just nearby within walking distance.

Nothing really. The unpredictable weather at the Alisan maybe.

Good location for day hikes and exploring Alishan. Communal large urn for hot water / cold water to drink, make tea or coffee / noodles is quite useful. Staff extremely helpful and welcoming.

Beds and pillows are not particularly comfortable, repeated noise from other people in the hallways after 10pm. Both didn’t allow for the best sleeps overall. 3 nights maximum was ok but not a place for any longer.
