Spacious apartment, nicely decorated, lots of communal space and a well equipped kitchen

No AC in the bedrooms

The host, the arrangement, the kitchen, the living room, amenities, everything was perfect. The host immediately responded to our request to increase the temperature in the apartment (remotely controlled). Better than some 5 star hotels I have been to :) Would choose the same everytime I go to the Thessaloniki.

I can't think of anything

Size of the apartment was big and comfortable. There is a lift in the apartment block so we didn't have to carry our luggage on the stairs.

The kitchen was missing a few essential items to cook conveniently, but was ok to work around. A tip about parking - It is impossible to park near the apartment and street parking is near impossible anymore at Thessaloniki. We arrived on the busiest day (Sunday before Christmas) and everywhere was full and traffic was at its worst. Luckily we found 'Parking Karavan Sarai' to park our rental car for one night before returning the next day. The staff there was super friendly and accepted us even though they were only meant to accept guests from collaborating hotels.

The host was very communicative. We received the keypad codes ahead of time and the instructions were very clear. The apartment was specious and clear. It had everything we needed and more.

The place does not offer parking. There is street parking, but it is often difficult to find a spot. The elevator to get up to the second floor is also very small, so if you have a stroller or anything else that is larger, the elevator size can be a problem.

It's one of the nicer rentals we've had. It was more spacious than it looked in the photos. It was very clean and had plenty of good quality appliances. The bathroom was fine, with a good shower. It was in excellent shape and not beat up like a lot of rentals. Clever lock system for the doors. Super quiet, with a cozy balcony. There are several charming tavernas very nearby. Actually, within easy walking distance to the markets and restaurants in the city. Highly cecooended!
