M6 Guest House

This apartment fell short of expectations in several key areas. Upon arrival, I was surprised to discover it was a shared space, as this wasn't clearly disclosed prior to booking. The room itself differed significantly from the advertised photos and had an unpleasant odor that persisted throughout my stay. The bedding also emitted a foul smell, and I had to shake out numerous particles from the sheets before use. The kitchen lacked basic amenities like paper towels for hand-drying.  Locating toilet paper was challenging, as it seemed only the cleaner had access to replenish it. Perhaps most concerning was the state of the iron provided. It was in poor condition, leaving stains and scorch marks on my clothing when used. These issues significantly impacted the comfort and convenience of my stay. Future guests should be aware of these potential drawbacks when considering this listing.

Lovely property with several shops (off license, Lidl, Tesco extra) near by, buses running frequently to town. Free netflix and the house being clean was a big plus. The owner was very approachable.

The windows of the room where we were staying were not completely soundproofed so we could hear in the evenings the noise from outside even when the windows were closed.

Everything was accessible and very clean. Would definitely stay again.
