"A good base to explore the lovely city of Syracuse."

The super-friendly and helpful owners met us at the building and walked us through the spacious, well-equipped apartment. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped. A free breakfast was generously provided. Free parking in the courtyard or on the street. There is a not-so-obvious-to-access rocky beach nearby with a large bathing platform under development. Once they add ladders, it will be even better; now, one needs bathing shoes to get into the water. The owner provided us with maps of sights, restaurants, and shops in and around the city. A very smart and useful service!

One of the bedrooms lacks air conditioning, and the others have air conditioning, but it is not very powerful. Not a problem for us, but may be for others: third floor and no elevator. You need a car to get to the city, and parking there is not very easy.
