GBWe stayed at this property for a big family Christmas and overall were really happy.It has been refurbished to a very high standard and was very clean throughout.Most of the fittings were of good quality which was appreciated (e.g comfy beds and sofa). Host was also great re communication - we had some issues with the heating on the final day which the host was very quick to respond to despite it being Boxing Day. He also sent a lot of helpful information prior to our visit. Location was brilliant for us - just south of Sheffield so could travel there quickly and also very close to A1 and M1 for other family members. Very quiet location
It was fine for us as we had a smaller party but just a note to say that the 5th bedroom doesn’t have a door - it’s on a mezzanine level which is worth bearing in mind for large groups -We had some issues with the deposit as it was taken twice for some reason but host has been liaising with us about this and it was sorted out.
GBA fabulous property being elegant & cosy, yet functional too with its lawns, fire pit & games room. Great communication from the host & a welcome pack of food & drink. A wonderful house, perfect for our stay & family gathering. Local facilities including a garden centre & pubs. Very enjoyable & relaxing.

GBEverything！The farm house is nicely decorated with lots of characters such as oak beams in the dining room; A big conservatory; spacious sitting room etc. The host provides us a bottle of wine, chocolate biscuits which is an extra special 😀

GBThere were many great things which we appreciated. • Early check in and late check out • Welcome basket, wine, water, milk, tea and coffee • Comfortable beds and nice linen • So much space- both inside and outside. Games room a lovely extra. • Beautiful building in a great location. • Lots of new gadgets in the kitchen. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful both before and during our stay with very clear instructions on how to find the property and things to do in the local area. When we needed a few extra things for the house he immediately drove to the property to deliver them.
This was a new property to the holiday home market and there were a few teething issues. There were some basic utensils missing from the kitchen and we could have done some more wine glasses and crockery. However when given this feedback the host has now bought everything that we suggested to improve the use of the house. The house is beautiful but being an old property there are some idiosyncrasies which you would expect such as noisy plumbing. However the house is warm, comfortable and charming.
