Tuns House B&B

Beautiful room and excellent breakfast. Host made us feel very welcome.

Tuns House B&B had everything we needed for our one night stay. The bedroom was very comfortable for relaxing in. It was extremely quiet so we had a very good night’s sleep. A lovely tea tray was provided with fresh milk and plentiful delicious biscuits. The luxurious bathroom had both a bath and separate shower. We especially liked the continental breakfast which was a nice change from a cooked breakfast. There was an abundance of high quality cereals, fruit, yoghurts, cheese, ham, pastries and bread.

After parking directly outside the front door, we were warmly welcomed by Bev, who then should us around there beautiful house, and then took us to our lovely room, which was very clean with a very large comfortable bed. After a good night's sleep and a lovely hot shower, we went down for breakfast which was an absolutely gorgeous continental with everything and more to fill us for the day ahead. Was close to our High Force waterfall walk about 6mile away and is a very quiet area for that much needed peace. Would certainly recommend and would return.

Everything was perfect

Breakfast items to select from were generous. Everything was attractively presented and enjoyable. I particularly enjoyed the lovely fruit salad.

I can not think of anything that would have made more enjoyable.

The room was beautiful. I had a very comfortable sleep. The house is stunning. Lovely low, warm lighting. Sumptuous soft furnishing. Just gorgeous.

Directions to the property weren’t quite specific enough and we ended up coming down a very narrow lane following Google Maps and almost got stuck! Clearer directions to the property would have been appreciated.

Exceptionally high standard throughout this charming B&B. Clean, comfortable, with friendly hosts. But most of all, the breakfast was amazing. Lots of quality choices, and nice to have something different than the usual full English.

Beautiful decor and great hospitality! Amazing continental breakfast with a fabulous choice. The house was so cosy and warm for us over a cold weekend, we felt very relaxed being there, and Bev was an excellent host. The room was very clean and comfortable with everything you needed, and some lovely extra touches. We wouldn't hesitate to return to such a lovely guest house!
