Homely 4BD Townhouse - Next to Hanley Park

We stayed for a month. Positives were the house had alot of space including a good sized office where my kids could study, the location was great right next to the park for walks and not too far to walk into town, quite a few supermarkets within walking distance. It has three bathrooms and a laundry room. It was quiet at night, which was good. The negatives, the house was not ready for us when we arrived, it had not been cleaned but they did compensate us for that. Some windows had missing blinds. The bath water was warm, which isn't great in cold weather, we had a few plumbing issues, but they sent somebody to fix the leaks etc after a few days. The biggest issue for us was the washer/dryer was not working, they offered to bring in a new one but by then we had only a few days before we left, taking our laundry to a laundromat and waiting for it over a few hours was inconvenient and cost us money. I am sure it has been replaced now. Would we stay there again, yes, because of the size and location.

Great location, supportive staff, clean property, well equipped kitchen, sufficient toiletries.

Washing machine did not work.

The house was spotlessly clean & spacious for my family. The location was very good for us as we were attending a graduation ceremony at the University.

There was a couple of basic items missing from the kitchen, a tin opener & potato masher. Some written guidance on the central heating control would have been useful, but we worked it out. Some maintenance is required for a couple of loose door handles & there didn’t seem to be an extractor fan in the bathroom.

Everything: clean, spacious, well organised, calm and quiet, well-equipped.

Generally everything was good except for some of the mattresses - you can feel the springs.
