Our hosts were very nice and accommodating and gave great direction for our stay. The location cannot be beat for travelers visiting Catania. You're right on the waterfront in Ognina and can walk the lungomare to gelaterias and restaurants quite easily. The subway to the center of the city is also walkable and there are buses. The apartment itself is very cute and cozy for a couple or a small family with 1-2 children.

If you travel by car rental, be mindful that you cannot park near the apartment and will have to park at minimum a block or two away. For us this was okay, but if you have children in carseats, etc it's a worthwhile consideration.

Very clean and organised. Kitchen and bathroom well equipped. The host left some juices, milk, yoghurts and water, Also equipped with coffee machine and microwave. Tea and coffee pods provided too. Beds comfortable too. Very good restaurants 100m away from the property. Rocky beach is less than 100m away and a lido is opposite the property.

The 2nd bedroom is without an AC., however it was not that hot. And the street is only accessible on foot as it's restricted for residents only.

Everything you need for a self catering apartment was supplied. We especially appreciated the complimentary tea, coffee, milk and other supplies on our arrival. The outside garden area was lovely and the upstairs apartment also has a balcony from the main bedroom. Our host, Valentina, was very kind and helpful - always available by phone if we had any questions. We wanted to stay outside the city and the location did not disappoint with access to the sea for a swim. Two small train stations are nearby. It's about 25 minutes walk to the Central Station and main bus station but there are local buses if you do not want to walk that far.

The apartment is probably aimed at families, so for a third adult the second bedroom needed somewhere to hang clothes. There is a mirror in the second bedroom but unfortunately it is obscured behind a chest of drawers and the TV. We also thought there should be a plug for the kitchen sink or a washing up bowl.

Very good position and nice area of the city. The apartment equipped with the all necessary. Very polite host.
