A Casa D'Irene

The fact that we were a second time at the same property is a statement by itself, and we booked up dates our stay for a third stay. We honestly think that Casa D'Irene is exceptional value for the money. The reasons why are these: - The exceptional hospitality of the host (Irene), who has served us with a very tasty homemade apricot jam & a cake. She even filled up the fridge with food for several days. - The apartment itself is on the first floor (one floor above the ground floor) and it has beautiful views from both the front and back balconies to the sea and Thessaloniki. - The beach itself is about 10 (ten) meters away and it is very convenient to go to it, and to go back to the apartment for a snack, nap, etc. - The beach promenade is right in front of the apartment and the balcony is a great place for people watching. - The apartment is tastefully arranged, and it has all of the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. It is very helpful that the washer is there, because it is really needed for the beach towels, and for doing the laundry in general. The kitchen is fully equipped with all of the cooking pots and utensils and all that's needed if you do the cooking. - Thessaloniki is a short car ride away, and if you prefer a more cosmopolitan venue for your evening going out, then it is to your disposal either by a car or boat ride. - The beach is very family friendly, because you can go literally hundreds of meters into the sea and you'll still be waist deep in the water. Also, the water is warm and clear. - The shops for the food and everyday things are short walk away, and the prices are affordable. - The surrounding area on the beach promenade has a lot of tavernas, shops, entertainment, that makes your stay filled with events and things to do.

- It can get tricky to find a parking spot if you are coming with a car. It is not always a case, but the locals can get overprotective of their parking rights.

The appartement was just perfect for us. We had everything you need. Its also perfect for a family of 4 because of the bunkbeds for the kids. There was always warm water and everything worked perfectly. No beter location in perea than this appartement. You have 2 balconys where you can see the beautifull sunset. And its located on a quiet street directly on the beach. There was always parking in front of the appartement. Just perfect. The host was the sweetest woman i have ever met and welcomed us with delicious cake. We will book casa d'irene again for sure.

The location is perfect, with sea view

The apartment felt like home to all of us it was clean and tidy. It is cozy and super close to the beach. We had wonderful time there and the apartment management was supreme. Definitely booking this place again.

There were few ants coming in from the balcony but it didn't cause an issue with us.

Everything was great.

The hosts were welcoming and friendly. The location was perfect, near the beach yet away from the main promenade. The water is shallow for some time, so it's good for small kids, but it's not too shallow so you can still swim.
