The cottage was clean, cosy, well equipped, incredibly comfortable and welcoming. Very quiet location with lovely views and walks from the property.
It was perfect for our stay.

Lovely remote location whilst still being only 10 minutes from Mauchline (Burns museum, Mauchline Ware), 10 minutes from Burns fishery for an evening’s fly fishing, 15 minutes from the amazing Dumfries House and Gardens. Cottage itself was warm and welcoming. It had everything needed for a comfortable stay, and much more. Staff were welcoming and approachable.
