The Old Mill Bed & Breakfast

I loved the history of the Old Mill. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. The owner, Gillian, was really personable and helpful. The breakfast was very tasty and fresh.

The hosts were friendly and exceptionally helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and very welcoming. The B and B was a 5 minute walk from the main street and set in a beautiful location. Room was exceptionally spacious and clean, with everything and more we needed.

I booked the Old Mill for my husband and son as we had a wedding near by. The owners were lovely. They went above and beyond to make them feel welcome and comfortable. They even let them check out a little later so they didn’t have to get their wedding outfits on too soon. My husband said the breakfast was brilliant and my son loved the complimentary hot chocolate in the room. They had a great sleep and said the place was very clean. I would highly recommended to anyone and would definitely return. Thanks again for a lovely stay

Loved the building and room really comfortable

The Old Mill was in a lovely location not far from the grounds of a play park etc. Our room the Queen suite was superb had a very comfy big bed, great rainfall shower,tv with all streaming services,small fridge and lots of choices re hot drinks as well as coffee machine. Breakfast was briiliant lots of nice choices re cereals,yogurts,strawbs,grapes,blueberries etc,pastries,croissants. Cooked breakfast is pre ordered but was very tasty with lots of choice & good qualty(loved the bacon). The owners Lee & Gillian are so welcoming and helpful,very interested in how your stay has gone. The Old Mill has a very interesting back story about how it all come to be,the owners have put their hearts & soul into the renovation. A Lovely renovated building and lovely owners.(and not forgetting wee Tara the dog)well worth a look if in the area.

Not an issue at all just a suggestion,the outside area of the suite could maybe be a bit more inviting especially as the weather improves so guests can sit outside at the table/chairs provided.

Good location, 5 mins on foot to Biggar centre. Superb well furnished room. Lovely hostess and great breakfast
