WILLOW RIDGE - a large country house with 3 rental rooms

The host is delightful and we had some great chats. Very accomodating. The beds were comfy and I really enjoyed the shower.

• Very clean, spacious, and nicely laid-out bedroom • Large bathroom with a big shower • Beautiful views from the bedroom of the countryside • Private, secure parking • Overall tidy and well-presented accommodation

• Check-in window is from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., but the late check-in penalty of £5 per hour starts immediately after 5:00 p.m. — for example, arriving at 7:00 p.m. would mean a £10 late check-in fee. While this is mentioned in the property’s fine print, I personally feel it’s an unfair practice for guests (my fault for not reading the small print beforehand) • Hot water for the shower only available at specific times of day • Ended up having a cold shower in the evening due to the timed heating system

Great location and very welcoming host

The duvet, though very cute, was too warm for the summer night and the mattress was too soft for my taste. All in all still a great stay

Das einzige Manko war, dass man lediglich zwischen 17:00-18:30 einchecken kann und für jede verspätete Stunde zusätzlich 5£ zahlen muss…
