Villa S:t Hans

Location is perfectly central in Visby and with a bonus of a delicious café around the corner with excellent coffee. The host is super very friendly but a bit slow to respond. Appartment is nicely appointed

The 2nd bedroom is a glassbox in the middle of the living room without curtains, no real privacy. The bathroom only accessable through master bedroom. Not enough towels and no watercooker but this was resolved by host

Lovely apartment overlooking a historic part of Visby.

There were no instructions from the property owner regarding how to find and access the property. This resulted in several hours of confusion before we could access the apartment. Subsequent communications were followed up upon promptly. A final difficulty was completing payment arrangement. Far more complicated than it should have been. The second “bedroom” marginal, a glass enclosure in the living area, with no curtains for privacy. Access to the bathroom was through the other bedroom, an arrangement that would not be suitable for everyone.

This apartment was nothing like the photos online. The biggest concern for us was that they never changed the code on the front door from previous guests. We brought this issue up with the owners upon check in and the solution was that it will get sorted the following day. We felt very unsafe that night. On top of this issue the apartment is run down and filthy. It looked nothing like the photos. The toilet seat was broken, there was mould in the shower and a dirty toilet with old poop stains. A smell in the bathroom. There was paint coming off the door and walls. Left over food in the sink. I payed $1500 AUD for this. It is utter disgrace! Due to these issues we decided that we could not stay another day in this apartment. We left the following day and reached out to the owner whom still has not replied or tried to help us out. I would never recommend this place!

The location is fantastic! It's a perfect location for seeing Visby. It was very convenient having a kitchen and a washer/dryer. The host was extremely helpful. We asked a lot of questions and she always responded quickly.

The ceiling in the bedroom is slanted and low. I hit my head on it numerous times. The only outlet in the bathroom is behind the mirror, so it took us a long time to find it.
