The Bay Tree Bed & Breakfast

Recently stayed at The Bay Tree B&B with my partner and we had a fantastic time. Anita and Mick are the best hosts you could ask for - homemade brownies on arrival, beautiful and well kept facilities, our room was immaculate and coffee/tea/milk are all available on arrival (as are snacks and cold drinks), the dining room and lounge area is very relaxing and peaceful, amazing views of Alton's hillsides, and a lovely breakfast menu with a wide range of choices for all dietary requirements. Anita makes the best coffees too!! We couldn't recommend The Bay Tree enough to people visiting Alton or the surrounding areas. It's 5 minutes' drive from Alton Towers theme park and you will be looked after incredibly well by Anita and Mick during your stay. They provide the best hospitality whilst respecting your privacy. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Great information given on local taxi services, restaurants, pubs and takeaways. We were text this information along with directions to the B&B and a video tour of the B&B in advance of our stay - this is hospitality at it's finest! The B&B has Wi Fi available to the guests too! Thoroughly recommended - the best B&B I've stayed in by a country mile. We can't wait to stay at The Bay Tree again when we return to Alton Towers later this year.

The Bay Tree is such a beautiful little gem, surrounded by natural beauty and nature and in walking distance of the lovely local pubs (The Talbot Inn is wonderful). Anita and Mick went above an beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Thank you so much!

Breakfast was excellent, super location with a lot's of things to do. Anita ( the host) exceeded our expectations, and I would recommend to everyone. Beautiful garden, combined with a perfect location for Alton towers, clean and big rooms. One of the best B&B I've seen so far.

The location was great - surrounded by countryside and waking up without the sound of traffic. The facilities were excellent - clean and tidy, a lovely seating area on the patio, private parking and an amazing freshly cooked breakfast. Anita was an exceptional host and cannot recommend enough

The property itself is beautiful - Anita’s attention to detail was really outstanding. Any need that we had was catered for, the garden is stunning and the surrounding lands are beautiful too. I could not rate this high enough. If you’re looking to stay in the area to go to Alton Towers, this is far better than staying at the resort, and extremely reasonably priced in comparison too. 10/10

The Bay Tree is fabulous! Anita & Mick were very welcoming & informative from the start, and we immediately felt at home. The rooms & communal areas are finished to the highest standard and are kept immaculately clean by them both. Every last detail has been considered. The freshly cooked breakfasts by Anita were outstanding too and no request was too much trouble. Perfect hosts & a perfect stay. How refreshing! We would not hesitate to return & recommend.
